About

The Administrative Manager, Development and Governance, serves an essential role within the Development office of The Philadelphia Orchestra and Kimmel Center, Inc. (POKC), performing confidential planning and support tasks that have an impact on the governance of the organization. The Administrative Manager will serve as the principal administrative liaison to the POKC Board of Directors, the Academy of Music Board of Trustees, and all related board committees. In this role the Administrative Manager will be responsible for meeting scheduling, materials preparation and distribution, maintaining rosters, and minute-keeping. The Administrative Manager will be available to provide support services to the chairs of the POKC and the Academy boards and to individual members, as needed. We believe that diversity equals excellence, and excellence equals diversity The scope of the Administrative Manager’s work will require collaboration and coordination with members of all departments, with an especially close collaborative relationship with the Executive Assistant to the President and CEO and the Administrative Manager for Development. Primary Responsibilities: Manage all POKC and Academy of Music governance activities, including meeting scheduling, meeting logistics planning, materials preparation and distribution, meeting minute-taking and archiving. Serve as the principal staff liaison for all POKC board members, offering and facilitating assistance on far-ranging organizational matters.
