Casting "Greater Tuna," a comedy about a small town in Texas named Tuna, Texas' third smallest town. Synopsis: The wacky inhabitants of this town -- men, women, children and animals -- are all played by two skillful, transformative actors who must change parts at a rather breakneck speed and use inventive voicework.
Actor 1 or 2: Lead, Male, 21+
to play multiple characters ranging from 25-50; actor must have physical agility to do multiple costume changes with precision and speed; high energy and great comedy chops a must; one of the two roles has already been cast - we are waiting to hire the second to make the decision who will play which characters. Note: also see our post for Young Frankenstein (14 September - 30 October) - Preference will be given to an actor who is available for this role and to play the Monster in Young Frankenstein.
Estimated payment amount: US$300.00 per week (Estimated duration: 7 weeks)
Additional: Pays $300/wk. Up to $200 towards your travel. Housing provided. Free gym membership.
