About the venue: The Morrison Center Recital Hall is a 200-seat space on the second floor of the Velma V. Morrison Center for the Performing Arts on the campus of Boise State University in Boise, Idaho, used for musical performances and student study. It is a venue within the larger performing arts facility which serves as a venue for both professional shows and Boise State University's School of the Arts.
Parking is available in Morrison Center parking lot and the Brady Garage right across the street. Fees apply to non-participants. Passes will be arranged for participants.
Singers that have advanced to the District Round will receive a notification regarding the opening of registration. You will be prompted to log in to your Dashboard, select a District, and pay the application fee to reserve your spot. Districts are limited to 25 singers and will operate on a first come, first served basis.
Getting to Boise: The Boise Airport, just four miles or ten minutes from the heart of downtown, offers nonstop service and numerous one-stop options for easy access across the country. For flight status and transportation information, visit iflyboise.com.
Accommodations and Getting Around: There are ten hotels and more than 100 restaurants that are within walking distance from downtown Boise and many more hotel and Airbnb options at all price points just outside the city center. Check back for news and updates on block or discounted rates for participants.
Boise airport has a variety of rental car options, and many airports offer airport shuttles. Boise offers a public transportation network of buses and downtown is outfitted with Lime scooters and e-bikes. Uber and Lyft are also readily available.
