ABOUT THE PRODUCTION: Ten years in the making, "A Symphony for Portland" a musical is getting its first full production, this August, in the Steve and Marie Sgouros Theatre upstairs at the Players Theatre in NYC.
SYNOPSIS: "One spring Sunday morning, in the waterfront park of Portland, Oregon, a young homeless man decides to stand up to a local sex trafficker, setting off a chain of events that profoundly changes the lives of the those with him in the park that day."

Starr: Lead, 18-25
Appears 18. Starr is a home-schooled senior whose widowed, work-obsessed, and over-protective father inadvertently drives her away from the home she loves and into the arms of a dangerous man.
