Seeking local hire in Atlanta-male comedic actors, stand-ups, or sketch performers to portray a comedic Rabbi at actual weddings, bar mitzvahs, and other life cycle events. Company states: "In addition to professional pay, each program is approximately just 20 minutes in length. Ages 18 and up as we are not looking for the stereotypical old Jewish rabbi with an accent. Open to ages 18 and over you don't have to be Jewish however, you MUST have a Catskills/Borsht Belt comic sensibility a la Billy Crystal, Jackie Mason, Shecky, etc. We're seeking someone with great comedy and hosting chops. Very flexible schedule--if you're not available you don't have to accept a particular gig when offered to you. Also, very easy rehearsal schedule as we'll simply chat over the phone or via Zoom. Union and nonunion can apply as these gigs are not under union jurisdiction as they're private events and not opened to the public. Bonus: We have troupes in a variety of cities throughout the U.S. and Canada so if you relocate, you can possibly have a job waiting for you."
