About

The Assistant Manager of Donor Communications & Stewardship will act as a leader in a shared services hub responsible for creating template and bespoke materials needed to solicit, acknowledge, and steward major donors and constituent committees. The AM will take the lead role in creating bespoke proposals, impact reports, board and committee materials and presentations, and special event collateral while working in a matrixed fashion with frontline teams, marketing, strategy, special events, press, and Office of the President. The AM will also hold primary responsibility for the creation and maintenance a department-wide resource library for quick-turn department use.
Duties and Responsibilities
50% Work cross-departmentally to create highly bespoke materials (as appropriate) or scalable templates for projects including but not limited to:
Impact Reports for designated principal giftsConstituent Committee Handbooks and Prospect PacketsInformational one-pagers on programs or initiativesFundraising Event collateralPresentation slide decks for meetings and events including but not limited to: Development Committee, President’s Annual Meeting30% Resource Library Creation and Maintenance
Lead the creation, maintenance, and training for continued implementation of department-wide template systems for quick-turn proposals and other materials made by front line fundraisers and support staff.Work with Programming to ensure up to date understanding of programmingWork with Creative to ensure proper images, text, and brand styles are utilized.Work with Digital and Marketing to ensure high-level stats are up-to-date and available for dept. use.Work in a matrixed fashion with SSP and front line teams to understand overall solicitation needs and structure.Work with AM Digital Donor Communications for unification of template designs across mediums.20% Serve as a cross departmental liaison and resource for information sharing, project development, and review coordination, including but not limited to the following areas:
Office of the President for donor acknowledgment letters, executive communications to donor groups, board and committee materials development.Press for cohesive institutional messaging and assistance with organization-wide materials such as the Annual ReportGovernment Relations for cross-usage of materials, language, and templates developed by the Donor Communications team for initiatives and eventsMarketing for cross-usage of design assets and coordination of development features in institutional marketing materials such as special donor listings and letters from leadershipDevelopment for launching and marketing special campaigns, collecting donor listings, and special stewardship projectsN/A Other duties as assigned.
