About

Casting "Kindness: A Legacy of the Holocaust," a groundbreaking verbatim play that has already undertaken a pilot tour in Spring 2022 with critical acclaim. Production states: "Voices have a strong reputation for high-quality, emotionally and intellectually powerful theatre in education for schools and communities. We are currently funded by the European Jewish Trust. Kindness is a verbatim/physical theatre play. It is physically and emotionally demanding with all actors multi-rolling and handling a number of different European accents. Familiarity with verbatim/TiE work would be an advantage. Singing/musical skills, by no means necessary but would be of interest. Playing age 18-35. Actors will work with a specialist accent coach and movement director through rehearsals. Knowledge and understanding of Holocaust history or Judaism are not essential but an openness to learn is. DBS essential. Applications are welcome from actors of Jewish heritage."
