Casting “LaBelle: The Musical." A new West End London show spotlighting the coming of age and journeys of Nona Hendrix, Sarah Dash, Cindy Birdsong and Patti LaBelle; from "The Ordettes" to "The Bluebelles" and to becoming one the originators of popular girl groups of the 60s and 70s.
If granted an In-Person audition; please be prepared to sing/actor the provided materials assigned by producers. Each audition phase may require additional material; please only apply meeting the requirements for the roles. Ensemble, Swing and Understudy roles may be offered as an alternative; as several of those roles will still require the same technique.
Patti LaBelle (1st Soprano): Lead, Female, 18-45
vocal and Character Impersonator. Able to perform/capture Patti LaBelle recordings during The BlueBelles and LaBelle before her solo career for public performance. Full voice belting vocalist only!

Cindy Birdsong's audition requirement is to sing Sarah Dash Vocal Lines in the Audition Material.

UK Auditions: July 2, 9, 16 in London. Non UK Candidates will be required to provide self tapes if not enough material is available for considerations. Rehearses August and September in London; Opens October 2022.
