Seeking a talented and inspiring musician to train as one of our unique Choir Leaders to run choirs in or near Wroughton, Marlborough & Cirencester. Exciting and life-affirming, We are looking for new talent to join the existing team to lead and inspire communities across the UK. We were the first contemporary choir in the UK to offer a non-audition, inclusive amateur singing experience. Now, with 25000 members and a team of 100 dedicated individuals, it has celebrated 17 years of life-changing experiences, winning numerous awards for its standards of excellence and dedication to communities and charities country-wide.
The role of a Rock Choir Leader is versatile encompassing teaching, performing, leading, conducting, planning and administration. It is very fulfilling and rewarding but hard work! Choir rehearsals take place in term time evenings and mornings with events and performances taking place inside and outside that timetable. There are many opportunities for the Rock Choir Leaders to perform on TV, Radio, and on stage at large pop concerts including The London O2, Wembley Arena, and The NEC Arena. There is a supportive and friendly HQ team who organize events, marketing, training, and resources and create all the musical arrangements and resources you will need.

applicants should have very competent piano and vocal skills and a charismatic and energetic personality. There is no need to have led choirs before but commitment and self-motivation is paramount. The role is a fulfilling one, with the chance to change people's lives through our music, performance and teaching.

A driving licence and access to a car (daily) is a necessity and a PA system will be needed to accompany the role.
If you would like to join our expanding team of successful musicians and be part of the next scheduled Rock Choir Training, please fill in our online application form with a view to you choirs starting in January. now even if you think your winter gigs or panto schedule will make you too busy, the training and start dates will be around these commitments. Successful applicants will be invited for interview and audition via Zoom, in Birmingham or Rock Choir HQ in Farnham. Please note that Rock Choir will make a contribution to your travel expenses if invited for interview.
