Essential Job Functions:
Possess and maintain a thorough knowledge of fine art logistics, including international shipping processes and protocol as well as an understanding of fine art handling, installation, and packing methods
Assessment and timely completion of estimate requests including but not limited to quoting, rating, and booking, working closely with vendors & logistics partners
Interface with clients, vendors, and government agencies as applicable including but not limited to Customs, BIS, TSA, USDA, FDA, USFWS and DOT
Set up and independently manage export/import files including logging, file setup, documentation, communications, rating and billing with the ability to meet deadlines and manage projects from start to completion
Maintain files in an organized fashion including copies of all documentation, communications and other related items
Anticipate needs of clients and seek out information to meet their demands
Compliance with Masterpiece policies and procedures
Develop and maintain working knowledge of internal systems and programs
Assist the manager and team members with Art Fair planning
Assist the manager to develop and expand systems already in place, to sustain and simplify future operations, both in the office and on the ground at the fairs
Ability to work onsite at local, domestic, and international fairs is required
